Reality star Toya Wright's brothers were tragically murdered three years ago. And now the man who killed them has finally been brought to justice - and received a life sentence.

Two years ago, New Orleans police booked Antoine Edwards and charged him with two counts of second-degree murder charges that stem from the July 2016 fatal shooting of Joshua and Ryan "Rudy" Johnson, brothers of reality star Toya Wright.

Justice took some time - but finally Toya and her family now have some closure in the case.

On Monday, a judge sentenced Antoine to life imprisonment with no possibility of parole.

During the trial, several witnesses claimed they saw Antoine in the area immediately before the shooting, and one woman also claimed she heard him confessing to the crime.

Toya also has spoken out about the incident publicly. She told People magazine that after learning of her brothers' murder she felt "numb."

“It was the worst news ever,” Wright said. “Murders happen every day and this is another dark night in New Orleans. You hear about stories like this all the time, but it doesn’t really hit you until you get that call. It hits so close to home.”
