Two years ago MTO News posted a video showing a woman REFUSING to let her babys father hold their newborn son in the hospital. The video was seen by more than 8 million people.
Well the couple in the video is allegedly now BACK in the news. In a tragic turn of events MTO News is hearing that the man in the video is wanted by police for allegedly shooting his baby mama in the face.
Here is the video:
The 22-year-old woman was found lying on a gentrified Baltimore street with a gunshot wound to the face. She was taken to a hospital, where she is currently listed in stable condition.
"Our detectives have been working on this, obviously, since 6 o'clock this morning. They made some very good headway that's giving us indications that this is a domestic, targeted incident, not a random shooting that occurred in downtown Baltimore," said Capt. Jarron Jackson, of the Baltimore Police Department.
And the man wanted in connection with the shooting - is Demetrius Thompson, 23,
Here are comments made by the victims cousin about Demetrius:
According to the Baltimore Sun newspaper:
The woman was taken to an area hospital and is in stable condition, police said. The shooting took place just outside the 10 Light Street apartment building and the Under Armour Performance Center at the corner of Redwood Street.
Police spokesman T.J. Smith said on Twitter the shooting was a targeted, domestic-related incident.
Part of the block, including the main entrance to the apartment complex, was cordoned off with police tape Friday morning, and there were blood stains on the street and sidewalk outside.
Police are investigating the shooting and are asking anyone with information to call them at 410-396-2221, or call Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7LOCKUP.
