A man who was shot by rapper Bun B as he tried to rob his Houston home has pleaded guilty to aggravated robbery.

Demonte Jackson pleaded guilty to charges of aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon and burglary of a habitation in connection with the which took place in May of this year.

According to reports, Jackson knocked on the door of the rapper's home. His wife, Queenie, answered the door to be confronted by Jackson, who pointed a gun at her and demanded valuables.

Queenie directed him towards to garage where her Audi was sitting, but her husband heard the noise and came downstairs and got into a shootout with the thief.

Jackson was arrested after showing up at the Pearland Medical Center, suffering from a gunshot wound to his left shoulder, police said. He will be sentenced Mar. 3.

Bun B did not receive any charges in connection with the incident.
