A 49 year old Washington DC man was shot once in the head at point blank range, after shaking hands with a teen gang member, MTO News has learned.
Marcus Covington, 49, of Southwest D.C., died Wednesday from injuries in Tuesday’s shooting. He was shot Tuesday afternoon on the Anacostia Metro station platform, and police are looking for the suspect they believe was involved in the deadly shooting.
The entire shooting was caught on camera, and it is frightening. In the video the two males seem to be friendly. At one point Marcus reaches over and “daps up” the teen.
