Malia Obama is working on becoming a pop star, according to new reports. Barack's daughter - and her music band - made a music video for their new song.
All of the members of Malia's band attend Harvard with her. And well, the band isn't Malia's technically. You see, she is not the lead, or second lead in the band - which is called The New Dakotas. She's a "background" member.
In the video, you see Malia dancing and plays the harmonica in the video, for the song called "Walking on Air."
Malia pops up at 1:41 and again at 2:01 in the video.
Here it goes:
This isn't Malia's first foray into the Hollywood scene. In 2015, the Obamas' daughter worked as an intern in New York on Lena Dunham's HBO series Girls. She also spent time on the Los Angeles set of Halle Berry's CBS drama series Extant. And, in 2017, she interned for The Weinstein Co.
Since leaving the White House, her parents have also made a foray into Hollywood. In May it was announced that the Obamas inked a multiyear deal to produce a diverse mix of content at Netflix, including the potential for scripted series, unscripted series, docuseries, documentaries and features under their Higher Ground Productions banner.
