Bravo's Real Housewives of Atlanta begins filming again at the end of the month - and the show will be trying out new potential castmates. And one of the women trying out is Rasheeda from Love & Hip Hop.
Typically Bravo prefers NOT to bring in women from other reality shows, but they are giving Rasheeda Frost an opportunity.
We spoke with a trusted Bravo insider who explained, "Rasheeda'a contract with Love & Hip Hop ends this season, and so she's trying out with The Housewives.
The insider continued, "She's already friends with the other housewives, and she has plenty of drama in her life. I think that she may get chosen."
Rasheeda's husband Kirk was caught cheating on her multiple times during their VH1 show - eventually he fathered a child with his side chick.
MTO confirmed last week that Marlo, Nene, Kandi, Porsha, Tanya and Cynthia are returning next season with peaches. Eva Marcille is likely returning as a "friend" to the show and so is Kenya Moore. Shamari Devoe has not yet been asked to return.
The Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta star, alongside her husband Kirk, is opening a restaurant in Castleberry Hill that carries her name.
Frost Restaurant and Bar, currently in permitting with the City of Atlanta, will replace Studio 281 at 281 Peters Street.
It will be the first restaurant for Frost but her second Atlanta business.
The Renaissance woman owns the retail brand Pressed in Phipps Plaza.
Pressed, which does most of its business through e-commerce, also has a storefront in Houston, Texas.
Expect a "cool, hip spot to eat and drink," a company rep Friday told What Now Atlanta in a telephone interview.
Frost Restaurant and Bar is aiming for a June 2019 opening but "it's still so early we don't have an exact time frame."
As with most new restaurants, the timeline will be finalized after permits are issued by the City.
