An MTOer went shopping at Baby Center in Brooklyn NY – look what they were selling.
The picture went viral with many people upset at Walmart’s apparent ignorance. But is all as it seems?
It appears that the image might have been photographed and the bib actually reads “My Grandmother Is A Hoot” and not “A Thot.”
“😂😂😂 omg is that real?? How tacky!”
“it made me laugh but I saw it actually says ‘hoot and this is just photoshopped.”
“I was hoping. That’s pretty decent photoshopping haha”
Last year, the brand got into hot water after a wig cap was described as being “N*gger Brown.” The wig cap was quickly pulled from their stores, and they were forced to make the following apology.
“We are very sorry and appalled that this third party seller listed their item with this description on our online marketplace. It is a clear violation of our policy, and has been removed, and we are investigating the seller to determine how this could have happened.”
In this case, Walmart does not owe consumers and apology. The photoshopper needs to step forward and claim their work. Even though they did a great job and many found the bib to be hilarious – some people were genuinely offended.
Stop the madness!
