A Massachusetts 11-year-old boy is being called a hero by many, and a SNITCH by others. You see the child called the cops on his father on Wednesday to say that he had drugs in his luggage, according to police.
According to police the boy told the 9-1-1 operator, "I think my dad sells drugs." The mini-informant also reportedly told police he had seen his father deal drugs earlier in the day.
Police said that as a result of the “brave” boy’s actions they found more than 200 grams of heroin and fentanyl in his dad's suitcase. The father, Yamil Mercado, 41, was charged on Friday with trafficking heroin and reckless endangerment of a child.
The drugs were worth $8,500.
