'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star Lisa Vanderpump has issued an apology to the trans community over comments she made about her cast member Erika Jayne.

“It was not my intention to belittle the trans community with my poor choice of words directed toward Erika,” Vanderpump said in a statement to Us Weekly.

“I have nothing but respect and love for trans people around the world, as I have been a staunch supporter, provided employment offered emotional support and championed LGBTQ issues.”

LVP said “Just don’t ask me if Erika’s tucking or something like that because there are some things I can’t lie about,” Vanderpump during a confessional - and some viewers were outraged.

LVP has long been a supporter of the LGBTQ community and many of her supporters knew that her remarks were not transphobic. Erika often claims that she has a "d*ck" and have several times told cast members to "suck my d*ck."
