Lil Xan left reportedly left rehab to purchase a new house.
But, according to the breaking news outlet, TMZ, his time outside of the rehab facility was "brief" as it was to sign papers for the new home to help prepare him for his post-rehab living arrangements
Here is what TMZ is reporting:
Sources close to the rapper tell us ... Lil Xan left rehab Saturday in order to go sign papers for a new house he bought in his hometown of Redlands, CA. The new crib is where he'll set up shop once he's completed in-patient treatment. We're told he'll have round-the-clock staff monitoring him to keep him on the straight and narrow.
TMZ also reports that Lil Xan was accompanied by a rehab facility nurse and headed back immediately after signing the papers on Sunday. He had stated before entering rehab that he would be changing his name to Diego upon his release, and not using his current stage name Lil Xan - due to it's obvious reference to the drug Xanax.
Fans of Xan can look forward to his forthcoming album, Be Safe which is inspired by Mac Miller and is set to drop next month.
