Controversial rapper Lil Pump has released his new video "Butterfly Doors" without the racist lyrics.
The rapper caught heat after he released a snippet on Instagram a few weeks back where he used a racial slur and well as a racist gesture. Several high profile Asian celebrities, including the rapper/actress Awkwafina, slammed him for being racist.
In the original version, Pump raps" "they call me Yao Ming cause my eyes real low" as well as an adlib of Pump saying "ching chong."
The video has already racked up over 16 million views.
The young rapper had several run-ins with the law in 2018 both in the U.S. and overseas in Europe. He even had a visa refused to perform in Australia due to his bad behavior. Will he be able to keep himself out of trouble in 2019?
