Actor Liam Neeson has canceled his appearance on 'The Late Show With Stephen Colbert' following his controversial remarks.
Neeson recently admitted that following a close friends rape outcry, that he took to the streets with a baton, looking for any "Black bastard" to start a fight with him so that he could beat them.
The 66-year-old actor was due to appear on The Late Show on Friday night, now only actress, Gleen Close will be appearing.
Whoopi Goldberg does not agree with most that Neeson is a bigot and a racist and defended him on The View:
"People walk around sometimes with rage. That’s what happens. Is he a bigot? No. I’ve known him a pretty long time, I think I would have recognized. I’ve been around a lot of, er, real bigots.
"You can’t be surprised that somebody whose loved one is attacked is angry and wants to go out and attack. So I can say this man is not one," she told the audience.
Terry Crews has also been called out for appearing to defend Neeson:
But it could be too little too late. Fans are already calling for Neeson to be edited out of the upcoming 'Men in Black International' which stars Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson.
