LaVar Ball is making headlines this week after he referred to his son, Lonzo Ball, as "damaged goods" during a recent exchange.

LaVar was discussing the future of Big Baller Brand after Lonzo suggested changing the name.

"When I come out with a name, and then somebody tells me to change it, that's like me telling me to change your name. That's like people saying 'Oh, hey, change Lonzo's name to Alfonzo on the fact that he been damaged goods for the last two years,'" LaVar said on their reality television show, Ball in the Family.

Although it's harsh, his LaVar may not just be throwing shade, and there is some validity to his claims. Lonzo has played in only 99 of a possible 164 games through two NBA seasons.

Lonzo, unfortunately, suffered a significant number of injuries in his first two years in the league, limiting him to fewer than 50 games per season so far.
