The BIG3 has reportedly booted two-time NBA champion, Lamar Odom.

The BIG3 is a 3-on-3 league created by rapper Ice Cube.

Last year, Odom announced that he would play in this year's edition of the Big3.

Ice Cube explained to TMZ why Odom had been "deactivated."

"We want players that are actually playing." He added players who aren't playing or who "can't play" or have "health issues" that prevent them from playing shouldn't be a part of the BIG3 organization.

The news was announced earlier this week via a BIG3 press release:

"After a series of consultations with players, coaches and league leadership, BIG3 will be implementing the following changes set to take effect immediately. Such changes are being implemented to maximize competition, protect the health of players, and to raise the level of the professionalism of the BIG3," the statement reads.

"Effective immediately, Baron Davis, Bonzi Wells, Lamar Odom and Jermaine O'Neal will be deactivated for the 2019 BIG3 season."

The statement adds that, "Glenn "Big Baby" Davis will be fined significantly for behavior detrimental to the league this past weekend but will be eligible for Power's Saturday game as it has been determined a suspension is not required given the level of the fine.

Cube ain't playing around!
