Kodak Black is reportedly begging to go to rehab after he recently attacked and injured a prison guard a brawl with an inmate.
Kodak is now asking a judge to allow him to serve part of his four-year prison sentence in a facility that provides treatment for drug addicts, which is called The Residential Drug Abuse Program (RDAP) for inmates, per AllHipHop.
The move is unexpected as just last week, Kodak's team called foul play on the incident, claiming that the rapper was set up.
According to TMZ, a source in Kodak's camp told them that someone allegedly slipped something in his drink to set him off.
The source told the breaking news outlet that a surveillance video shows Kodak drinking a cup of coffee about 20 minutes before the fight. His reps believed Kodak's coffee was spiked with a chemical substance intended to make him lose control.
Kodak was just sentenced to almost nearly four years in prison this week after he pleaded guilty to weapons charges stemming from his arrest at a May concert.
