Kim Kardashian is being sued by a photographer after she shared a photograph that he took of her and husband Kanye West, and she posted it to her Instagram account without his permission.
Photographer Saeed Bolden has claimed in a copyright infringement lawsuit that he took the snap of Kim and Ye in June 2018 during a listening party for Nas' most recent album, Nasir.
Kim shared a black and white version of his image, and the photographer claimed in his lawsuit that her post received 2.2 million likes Saeed registered a copyright just last year for a picture of Kim that he took in 2018.
Saeed claims that she "did not license the photograph" from him for her page, nor have his "permission or consent to publish the photograph."
Saeed also alleges that there has been "willful, intentional, and purposeful, in disregard of and indifference" to his rights and that he is entitled to damages and any profits made from it, plus attorney's fees and costs.
He is requesting a trial by jury. The amount of damages he is demanding has not been specified.
