Kim Kardashian recently revealed her new shapewear line 'Kimono Solutionwear,' but Twitter thinks she's trying to copy Rihanna's 'FENTY' blueprint.
“Finally I can share with you guys this project that I have been developing for the last year,” she announced to her fans on Tuesday. “I’ve been passionate about this for 15 years. Kimono is my take on shapewear and solutions for women that actually work.
“I would always cut up my shapewear to make my own styles, and there have also been so many times I couldn’t find a shapewear color that blended with my skin tone so we needed a solution for all of this.”
Kim already has 'KKW Beauty' under her belt, which is not as successful as Rihanna's 'FENTY Beauty' or even as successful as her younger sister Kylie Jenner's beauty brand - but her desire to now move into the underwear space has some fans reeling.
It has also been revealed that Kim has filed a trademark for the word 'Kimono.' A kimono by definition is “a long robe with wide sleeves traditionally worn with a broad sash as an outer garment by the Japanese," according to the dictionary.
