Rapper Kid Cudi has officially come out of the closet, MTO News has learned. The rapper/actor showed up at the CFDA Fashion Awards in New York City yesterday, and was seen holding hands with his male date.
And that's not all. Cudi was seen wearing a white wedding dress - leading many to think that he may be transgender as well.
There had been speculation for weeks now that Cudi was low key a member of the LGBTQ tribe. Now the speculation appears to be confirmed, MTO News has learned.
Last night, Cudi proudly walked the red carpet wearing an elegant white wedding gown. And his bae, whom Cudi held closely, was wearing a tuxedo - like he was a groom.
And of course, like any proper bride, Cudi had on a face-full of makeup.
Cudi has sold 22 million certified records in the United States and has won two Grammy Awards. He has worked with numerous prominent artists in the music industry, such as Jay-Z, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, David Guetta, Steve Aoki, MGMT, Mary J. Blige, Shakira, and Michael Bolton, among others.
After signing to GOOD Music, Cudi has since gone on to launch his own vanity labels, the now-dissolved Dream On and current label imprint Wicked Awesome Records.
Cudi also ventured into acting when he was cast in the HBO series How to Make It in America. He has since appeared in several feature films, including Goodbye World (2013), Need for Speed (2014), Entourage (2015) and Bill & Ted Face the Music (2020). In addition, he has made appearances on television shows such as One Tree Hill, The Cleveland Show, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and Westworld. In 2015, he was the bandleader on the IFC series Comedy Bang! Bang! and in 2020 was added as a cast member for the HBO mini-series We Are Who We Are.
