Kevin Spacey's sexual misconduct accuser has dropped the charges against the Hollywood actor.
Spacey is accused of groping the 18-year-old in a Massachusetts and Spacey, 59, was charged with felony assault and battery.
According to the alleged victim, William Little's attorney, Mitchell Garabedian, the civil lawsuit has been dismissed in Massachusetts Superior Court per Radar Online.
The suit was reportedly dismissed "with prejudice," meaning it cannot be refiled — and does not seek attorneys’ costs. The documents do not state whether a settlement has been reached.
"Respectfully, because of the pending criminal action, I have no further comment at this time," Garabedian commented.
Spacey still faces criminal charges. Assistant District Attorney Tara Miltimore of the Cape & Islands DA’s Office said the dismissed civil suit has no bearing on the criminal case.
“The criminal case is independent of the civil case and will go forward,” she said in a statement.
