Kevin Federline, the father of Britney Spears' children, is seeking a hike in child support following the stars' breakdown as he will have to have the boys full-time while she gets herself well.
Back in September, Federline already received an increase in child support - the exact amount is not known but he is receiving in excess of $20,000 to care for their two sons, Sean Preston, 13, and Jayden James, 12.
But Britney hasn't been in the facility for two weeks yet, and Federline is already trying to get more child support money.
"They settled out of court in September and everyone was okay with the increase that Kevin was given," an insider told Radar Online.
“But now he is asking for more money because he will need to care for the boys permanently for the time being.”
Britney has been struggling since her father, who is suffering from colon cancer's health took a nosedive.
“Kevin has the kids right now and they obviously don’t know what is really going on with their mother," the insider revealed to Radar.
“Britney was trying her best to keep the severity of their grandfather’s health issues from them the best she could, but the boys are old enough to understand death and they are not blind.”
