Kerry Washignton has people scared - this weekend she attended the Vanity Fair Oscar party looking shockingly thin.

She's best known for her role as crisis manager Olivia Pope on the ABC hit series, Scandal.

But there was nothing scandalous about Kerry Washington's red carpet appearance at the Vanity Fair Oscar party on Sunday, with the 42-year-old actress showing perfect form as she struck a pose for photographers.

The Django Unchained star dazzled in a semi-sheer, tiered dress for her solo red carpet waltz.

Kerry has a history of eating disorders. She's battled bulimia in the past, and needed medical treatment to help her stop from binging and purging.

Last night she looked emaciated at the Vanity Fair Oscar party. And Kerry's fans on social media are worried about her.

Here are some comments about Kerry from Twitter.

"She looks anorexic. That dress is doing a good job hiding her body and making it look fuller but her face, chest, and back is a dead give away"

"Wow yeah she doesn’t look good"

"Why do people in Hollywood think the gaunt bobblehead look is attractive? Her back and chest are sickly and her head looks huge on her frame."

Kerry gained worldwide public recognition for starring in the ABC drama Scandal, a Shonda Rhimes series in which she played Olivia Pope, a crisis management expert to politicians and power brokers in Washington, D.C.

For her role as Olivia Pope, Kerry has been nominated twice for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series, Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series, and a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Television Series.
