Kenya Moore and Eva Marcille have both been fired from Bravo's Real Housewives of Atlanta, MTO News can confirm. Bravo sent out the "return" letters to the cast and neither Eva nor Kenya were offered a peach for next season.
So what happened? MTO News spoke with two people at Bravo who tell us that Nene got both Kenya and Eva fired. The insider explained, "Nene basically told Bravo that if they don't fire Kenya and Eva, she would quit."
Bravo gave into Nene's threat, and fired Kenya and Eva.
Another insider explained, "Nene got [Eva and Kenya] fired, but she also got other former housewives fired also". The insider told MTO News, "she got Claudia [Jordan] and Sheree [Whitfield] fired also."
And MTO News has evidence that Kenya and Eva have been fired.
First, Eva confirmed yesterday that she would not be returning for season 3 of Bravo's top-rated show. She claims that she "quit," but that seems very unlikely.
And yesterday, Kenya removed all mention of Bravo or the Real Housewives of Atlanta from her Instagram bio. Look:
Eva first appeared on RHOA in Season 10 -- and in the seasons since has found herself in the middle of some signature Real Housewives drama and beef. But she's also captured many treasured life milestones during her time on RHOA, including marrying attorney Michael Sterling, welcoming their two sons, Maverick and Michael Todd Sterling Jr., and the couple's journey to have Michael adopt her daughter from a previous relationship, Marley Rae.
Eva reflected on the experience of sharing her life as well as her friendships and feuds with the RHOA cast during an episode of The Rickey Smiley Show, on which she is a co-host:
"I love every single one of those Black women. They are all queens all in their own right. They are stars and I wish them the most successful season and transformational season 13 that The Real Housewives of Atlanta has ever seen.”
