Kendall Jenner has officially been sued after her involvement in the disastrous Fyre Festival.
Kendall Jenner faced criticism after it was revealed that she received $275,000 for a single post about the music festival.
According to the complaint filed by New York's U.S. Bankruptcy Court by the event's trustee, Gregory Messer, Jenner's post, which referenced her "G.O.O.D. Music Family" and did not indicate that she was paid to promote the festival, "intentionally led certain members of the public and ticket purchasers to believe" Kanye West, who founded the G.O.O.D. music label, was set perform at the event. "This conduct demonstrates a clear lack of good faith on Jenner's part," Messer states per E!
Emily Ratajkowski and other stars are officially being sued to recover money allegedly paid. These artists include Migos, Blink-182, Lily Yachty, and Pusha T.
The Fyre Festival bombed and became a social media phenom which led to co-founder Billy McFarland pleading guilty to wire fraud. He is currently serving a six-year sentence behind bars. Co-founder Ja Rule was not charged with any crimes.
