Despite their rumored feud, Kate Middleton and Prince William have sent their well-wishes to new parents, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry on Monday.

“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted with the news of the birth of The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s son today, and look forward to meeting the latest addition to the family,” Kensington Palace said in a statement.

Since Prince Harry and Markle were engaged, the U.K. media has played up a reported beef between the couples. While Middleton is a stickler for royal tradition, the more laid back, progressive Markle has drawn criticism for being more willful when making decisions and plans for her and her growing family.

The Queen also released an official statement regarding the birth:

“The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Lady Jane Fellowes, Lady Sarah McCorquodale and Earl Spencer have been informed and are delighted with the news,” Buckingham Palace said in a statement.
