Kanye West showed off his newest Yeezy sneaker designs last night, as he accompanied his wife Kim Kardashian to a Broadway show.
Kim and Kanye both look striking as they arrived at the opening night of the new Broadway musical, "The Cher Show."
But it was Kanye's new sneakers that stole the show. For months there were rumors that Kanye had a "new" design for his Yeezy brand sneakers. And last night, Kanye wore them out in public for the first time.
And there are more Yeezy shoe designs in the future. Earlier this week, Kanye announced that he's dropping another new design in 2019.
Here's how Complex described his next generation sneaker:
West shared an image of the yet-to-release sneaker on Twitter, along with the caption "chrstn trssr dsgnd 700s stvn smth bttm." The message indicates that legendary footwear designer Christian Tresser and current Yeezy design director Steven Smith, who both worked for Reebok in the early 90s, linked up to revamp the Yeezy 700—Tresser redesigning the upper, while Smith's contribution is seen on the tooling. While the silhouette maintains the chunky dad shoe look, the grey upper reads 700 in large font along the lateral side. As of now, there is still no official word on a release for the latest 700 variation.
