Kanye West has donated $500,000 to the wildfire relief in California.
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's home were not damaged by the fire but their home was close to the Woolsey fire and the family decided to evacuate their homes.
Speaking to Ellen, she opened up about the raging wildfires.
"[The fires] got to our gate. Luckily, we had protection and firefighters right there who were helping us to get the fires out," Kim said. "We're still not in our home now because the smoke smell is too intense, and we have these machines everywhere trying to blow out the smoke smell. We were lucky; we're blessed."
She added: "Our house is right on the end of a big park, so the whole park had caught fire. If our house went, then every other house would go [...] I know not everyone has this luxury available to them, but we were able to get private firefighters—a company you can hire."
This is West's second charitable donation is as many weeks. He also donated $150,000 to the GoFundMe page of Jemel Roberson, the security guard who was shot to death by cops.
