Kanye West is gearing up to release his gospel album, Yandhi - so of course, he's back to publicly cosigning President Trump.

The rapper expressed his views during the Sunday Service event on Saturday in Utah, where he claimed that it's "mental slavery" to support a person solely based on the color of their skin.

The rapper then told the crowd that it was the Republican Party, led by former President Abraham Lincoln, who freed enslaved Africans.

"That's the Republican Party that freed the slaves," said West.

He continued to argue that supporting Trump is his "right" - "And we got the right, right? We got a right to our opinions, right?" he said.

"I ain't never made a decision only based on my color. That's a form of slavery, mental slavery."

Kanye's political views have earned him plenty of backlash - but we cannot help but note the time of his new political rant - right before he has an album dropping.
