Kanye West Defends ‘Eazy’ Video: Art Is Therapy

Kanye West defended his “Eazy” video following backlash for the violence in the video.

In the video, Kanye kills Kim Kardashian’s new boyfriend Pete Davidson by cutting his head off.

“Art is therapy just like this view, art is protected as freedom of speech, art inspires and simplifies the world. Art is not a proxy for any ill or harm. Any suggestion otherwise about my art is false and mal intended,” Kanye wrote.

Kanye has been accused of harassing Kim and Pete. Kanye did apologize for harassing her and sharing her text messages. In one of the texts she tells Kanye that his posts are putting her and his children in danger.

“I know sharing screen shots was jarring and came off as harassing Kim,” he wrote. “I take accountability. I’m still learning in real time. I don’t have all the answers. To be good leader is to be a good listener.”

Hours later, he was doing it again.
