Yung Miami's City Girls partner JT was released from federal prison yesterday, MTO News has confirmed.

JT, real name Jatavia Shakara Johnson, was scheduled to be released from prison next March. But she entered a program that allowed her to be released six months early.

J.T., born Jatavia Johnson, began serving a prison sentence on credit card fraud charges in the summer of 2018. Back in May, the rapper filed a motion to be released to a halfway house and serve the rest of her sentence. According to her entry on the federal government's inmate locator, her release date is set for March 21, 2020.

In June, Quality Control co-founder Pierre “Pee” Thomas, told Miami's 99 Jamz that J.T. would be released within three months from that date. “J.T. will be home within the next 90 days,” Pee told radio personality Supa Cindy without further details about her impending release.

Here are the receipts, showing that JT is out:

JT and Yung Miami, the City Girls, became an international sensation after being featured on Drake's chart-topping hit, "In My Feelings."

But before their career could take off as many expected, JT was arrested and convicted of credit card fraud. She was sentenced to two years in prison and began sentence on June 29, 2018.

But now she's out - and making it known. To celebrate they released their first track yesterday called, First Day Out:

JT’s City Girls partner Yung Miami shared the good news on social media, writing, “You b—–s in trouble!! My b—h is home!”

JT also shared her first post-release photo, adding that she got out “right on time for the season change.”
