'Pirates of the Caribbean' star Johnny Depp was reportedly given a black eye by his ex-wife, Amber Heard after she allegedly punched him in the face back in 2016.

Depp has reportedly submitted photographic evidence of the alleged assault as part of a libel lawsuit Depp filed against a U.K. tabloid for calling him a “wife-beater.”

Per The Blast, Depp is claiming that on the night of Apr. 21, 2016, he returned home late for Heard's birthday. Heard was allegedly upset and began criticizing him and then later, when he was reading in bed Heard became “aggressive and violent, punching him twice in the face.”

The photograph was taken by an employee of Depp. A security guard, Starling Jenkins, who worked for the then couple also claimed:

“When I entered the residence,” Jenkins testified, “Amber explained to me that she had thrown Johnny’s cell phone — and the wallet containing it — off the balcony the night before.”

He then tried to locate the iPhone using "find my iPhone" but could not locate it and then asked several homeless men in the area.

“One homeless man admitted to me that he had the phone, and he returned the phone to me in exchange for the following: (1) $425 cash; (2) three chicken tacos; (3) 2 bags of chips; (4) 2 apples; and (5) four bottles of water," Jenkins said.
