“Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” star Jennie Nguyen is in a world of trouble after some controversial social media posts were uncovered by some of her fans, MTO News has learned.
Now there’s an online petition with tens of thousands of signatures – asking for her to be fired from the Bravo show.
MTO News did a bit of digging, and the following posts were found on Jennie’s old Facebook page (this is her original page, as she has recently made a new one for the show).
Most of these screenshots include posts she has shared on her page, which means she agrees with the pro-Trump, anti-BLM, blue lives matter, and pro-Republican messaging.
Additionally, MTO News observed that Jennie loves to reshare videos of random Black people committing crimes, click through to see some examples. (Some of the images may appear blurry, so make sure to click them).
Jennie has apologized to her fans, saying:
“I want to acknowledge and apologize for my deleted Facebook posts from 2020 that resurfaced today,” Nguyen wrote via Instagram. “At the time, I thought I was speaking out against violence, but I have since learned how offensive and hurtful my words were.”
“It’s why I deactivated that account more than a year ago and why I continue to try to learn about perspectives different from my own. I regret those posts and am sincerely sorry for the pain they caused.”
