Deceased billionaire Jeff Epstein reportedly paid his lawyers to keep him company in prison to avoid going back to his cell.

According to an insider, Epstein "hated being in his prison cell and was paying his lawyers [to be with him] for most of the day since he arrived," they told Radar Online.

"Lawyers can stay for as long as they want, and Jeffrey was basically paying them to keep him company and from having to go back to the cell," the source explained to Radar.

There has been some speculation as to whether Epstein actually committed suicide or whether something more sinister actually went down. His arrest is said to have implicated several high profile, wealthy businessmen. But despite his death, the investigation still continues as the FEDS already have the names and information of others connected to the pedophile ring.

According to the New York Post, Epstein hung himself with a bedsheet.
