The 2018 beef of the year went to Drake and Pusha T - now it looks like Pusha T has beef with rapper J Cole.

Last night a new J Cole song 'Middle Child' dropped, and J Cole spit the following bars, that clearly were taking shots at Pusha T:

"This watch came from Drizzy, he gave me a gift
Back when the rap game was praying I’d diss
They act like two legends cannot coexist
But I’d never beef with a n*gga for nothing [Pusha]
If I smoke a rapper it’s gone be legit [Pusha]
It won’t be for clout [Pusha]
It won’t be for fame [Pusha]
It won’t be cause my sh*t ain’t selling the same [Pusha][Ye]
It won’t be to sell you my latest lil sneakers [Ye]
It won’t be cause some n*ggas slid in my lane

J Cole basically said that Pusha started the beef with Drake for clout. He also suggests that Pusha's music was ice cold, and so he started a "beef" with the hottest rapper in the world to gain relevance.

Well Pusha already responded to J Cole's diss. Here's what he posted last night on social media:

Many of Pusha T's fans are also suggesting that J Cole may have just been striking up for Drake, because their both #TeamLiteSkin.

Back in 2016, fans also thought J. Cole had taken aim at Kanye on his track False Prophets.

The Work Out rapper never directly said if the track was dissing the husband of Kim Kardashian.

Cole remarked on the song in a New York Times interview: 'Rappers rap about other rappers all the time — subliminal insult, direct attack — but rarely from a place of love. “That speaks to the state of us as a people,” he said.

'“For so long my mind state was, I have to show how much better than the next man I am through these bars. Who’s the best? Let me prove it.
