J Cole may have just ETHERED Kanye West. Kanye has been making all kinds off ERRATIC and ANTI-BLACK statements on Twitter for the past day or so. It has many of his fans upset.
Well rival rapper J Cole just threw his two cents into it. He was asked yesterday if his 2016 song False Prophet was about Kanye West. J Cole told fans "YES."
He has never revealed WHO he was talking about in the song, until now.
Here's the song:
In other news, J Cole's brand new album is expected to hit number one on the Billboard 200 charts. Everyone's been loving it and a lot of the singles also entered the Billboard Hot 100.
The North Carolina rapper recently sat down with New York Magazine for an interview and he said a few interesting things...
He said this about the Soundcloud rapper generation:
If you exclude the top three rappers in the game, the most popping rappers all are exaggerated versions of black stereotypes. Extremely tatted up. Colorful hair. Flamboyant. Brand names. It’s caricatures, and still the dominant representation of black people, on the most popular entertainment format for black people, period.
And he said this about fame:
It’s appealing to be in a room full of famous people – it says I’m important enough to be here. But it [comes with] the pressure of wanting to be somebody — like, Who am I supposed to be in this party? Around all these famous-ass people, who am I supposed to be? You’re supposed to be yourself. Now, if I’m going in, I’m going in as me.
