The executives behind Basketball Wives have officially fired one of the cast members, Ogom "OG" Chijindu.  MTO News learned that the production team members sent out a "non-renewal letter" to OG on Friday, and she is expected to receive it ANY DAY NOW.

One person close to production told MTO News, "OG's aggressiveness and threats were too much. She made the production set unsafe."

As MTO News reported earlier, Basketball Wives producers are expected to ask back Evelyn, Jackie, Shaunie, Jennifer, and Malaysia. They are also looking to add some new cast members to next season's cast.

The news of OG being fired comes just days before the Basketball Wives reunion is set to air. And we can expect that once OG gets her termination letter, that she'll be SPAZZING OUT against her co-stars on social media.

So this week's gonna be fun.

OG is the girlfriend of professional basketball player Kwame Alexander, who is currently playing overseas. The native Nigerian recently retired from playing professional football.

The show, Basketball Wives, has clearly had another successful drama-filled season with OG as a cast member. Now while some fans are happy about the conflicts that occurred on the show, others felt like things went too far. In particular, some fans weren't happy about the treatment of OG and Cece Guiterrez, another cast member. These viewers believe that the two women were seriously mistreated by production and Shaunie O’Neal and Evelyn Lozada were behind it.

Things got so tense on the show between the women that some fans were calling for it to be canceled. Fans have also accused Evelyn and Shaunie of colorism, claiming that they with a habit of mistreating dark skinned black women on the show and favoring their lighter skinned counterparts.

Reportedly, Shaunie recently responded to the claims.
