Issa Rae's 'Insecure' Renewed For 5th Season

Great news for fans of Issa Rae's Insecure, HBO has confirmed that the show has been greenlit for a fifth season.

"We're thrilled that Issa, Prentice, and the whole Insecure team will be getting back together for a fifth season," said Amy Gravitt, HBO Programming's executive vice president in a press release. "As we laugh and cringe with recognition, their stories make us all feel a little less alone in the world."

Rae took to Twitter to express her joy about the season's renewal.

"Grateful to officially come back for Season 5! #InsecureHBO," she tweeted.

During the current season, Issa is working hard to bring her block party to fruition while trying to work through her relationship with ex, Jay and struggle with the fallout with bestie, Molly.

Molly is currently enjoying her first serious relationship with #AsianBae while struggling to balance her high-powered career as an attorney.
