Diehard fans of Issa Rae's 'Insecure' were devastated to learn that the show's fourth season will not be hitting their screens until 2020.

The news was confirmed by HBO programming chief Casey Bloys to Vulture:

"Well, Issa became a big movie star!" he said. "We're not the first place to deal with this, but when you're in business with very creative and talented people, there's a lot more opportunities for people to do things. Issa, I think, partly wanted a break to come back to it fresh."

But the successful show will be back next year. Donald Glover, creator of 'Atlanta' took a brief hiatus to film 'Solo: A Star Wars Story' and returned a year later like he never left.

And while fans were disappointed with the news, they are also happy for Issa being this booked. Issa will be starring alongside LaKeith Stanfield in an upcoming flick titled 'The Photograph' and is working on two new shows for HBO.
