An Indianapolis rapper who goes by the name Sean Da Don was shot and killed by police yesterday, and the entire incident, including his killing, was live-streamed to the rapper's fans via Facebook Live, MTO News has learned.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police say they first noticed Sean Da Don, real name Sean Reed, speeding and driving recklessly on Interstate 65, and they tried to pull him over.
But officers say that the rapper didn't stop. Instead, he pulled out his camera and started live-streaming the police car chase.
After police pursued the vehicle off an exit ramp for about 15 minutes, Sean Da Don hopped out of his car and fled on foot as officers shouted at him to stop, the department said.
When a cop attempted to fire a taser during the foot pursuit, police say that Sean Da Don brandished a firearm and exchanged fire with the officers. He was shot and killed by officers around 6:15 p.m., police said.
