Iggy Azalea has returned to social media after a brief hiatus and has been busy defending her new, bloody album cover.

Her sophomore album 'In My Defense' drops next months and featured Iggy sprawled out on the floor in front of the vehicle. Iggy has blood coming from her head as well as blood on her arms and leg. The car door is open and there appears to be a red light underneath the door, lighting up the pavement.

When asked by a fan what her cover art symbolizes, she replied:

"It’s a statement about women not having the ability to defend themselves under public gaze, not rebirth."

Iggy deleted her social media accounts a few weeks back after topless pics from a 2016 GQ photoshoot were leaked online. Before deactivating her accounts, Iggy threatened legal action against the leakers.

'In My Defense' will be available for pre-order on June 28.
