British actor Hugh Grant's car was broken into over the weekend, and he took to social media to urge the thief to return his script.

“In the unlikely chance that anyone knows who broke into my car tonight and stole my bag, please try and persuade them to at least return my script. Many weeks worth of notes and ideas. And perhaps my children’s medical cards.”

He then provided an address for the thief to return the script to:

"Coach Films ,Ealing St Mary's Ealing Green W5 5EN*" he wrote.

Grant is currently working on Toff Guys, which is directed by British film legend, Guy Ritchie. The film is about a British drug lord. He is also working on a HBO series The Undoing, which also features Nicole Kidman and Donald Sutherland.

He did not specify which project the movie script was for.
