Hollywood actor Owen Wilson is reportedly refusing to meet his newborn daughter.
The 49-year-old comedian should be the proud new father of baby Lyla, who he shared with ex Varunie Vongsvirates but according to UsWeekly, Owen “refuses to meet his daughter."
“He even checked the no visitation box in court in June … He does not want to visit [and does not] want any custody of her,” the source continued. “The baby looks just like Owen,” noted the source. “She has fair skin, blonde hair, and blue eyes.”
The source adds that he “has not contacted Varunie at all” even though the pair “dated for almost five years.”
A representative for Wilson tells Us: “This is a private matter and it’s not appropriate to comment further.” People are wondering why Wilson is taking such a firm stance on the issue. He has not openly denied paternity and even took a paternity test to ensure baby Lyla is his.
“Owen has been a great father to his boys and has maintained a warm and close relationship with their mothers,” a source told Us Weekly at the time. “Of course, if a paternity test establishes that he is the father of another child, he will fulfill all of his obligations to support his child.”
Wilson has two other children. A 7-year-old son with ex-girlfriend Jade Duell and a 4-year-old son with Caroline Lindqvist.
