On Monday, there were reports that a private jet that rapper Lil Wayne was traveling on was searched by the feds - and guns and drugs were discovered.

According to the Miami Herald, Miami-Dade Police received a tip about weapons and marijuana possibly being transported on Wayne’s plane, and then alerted federal authorities so they could obtain a search warrant to inspect the aircraft at Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport, the sources said.

Authorities say that during the search, investigators found cocaine and a gun.

No immediate charges were filed, law enforcement sources said, and Wayne was cleared to leave the airport shortly after. He was one of several passengers on the aircraft, and the cops did not state who the items they discovered belonged to.

This search comes just weeks after Juice Wrld died after consuming pills while being searched at a Chicago airport. That time, it was the pilot who alerted the feds to the illegal items on board.
