The Bravo hit show Real Housewives of Potomac has just lost a housewife. MTO News has confirmed that Ashley Darby, and her husband Michael, have officially been fired.

MTO News spoke with one producer of the show and one Bravo exec, and they both confirmed that Ashley and Michael were not asked back for the new season of the Potomac Housewives.

Filming for the new season has already started, and Bravo sent out new contracts to all the other Housewives - but NOT Ashley.

Last season, Michael was accused of sexually assaulting one of the male crew members of the show. Eventually criminal charges against Michael were dropped, but the whole mess likely left a bad taste for the network.

But there was more.

One insider explained, "It wasn't just [Michael's] incident. Ashley made a lot of comments, that suggested she didn't want to be here. So we cut her loose."

Bravo is actively looking for new "housewives" for the new season.

We're sorry to see Ashley and Michael leave, they were full of drama. But we also can't wait to see what NEW housewives sign on.

The ladies of The Real Housewives of Potomac had a breakout season, and the reunion arrived this past Sunday. It was time to settle scores, rehash the drama, and maybe ignite some new feuds. These women had no problem being MESSY and SHADY this season.
