Rapper Gucci Mane's wife Keyshia Kaoir is now being called a :White woman" on social media. New pics of her at the NBA All Star Game show her with a dramatically lighter skin complexion.

Many of Keyshia and Gucci's fans suspect that Gu-Wop's wife is using chemicals to "bleach" the melanin out of her skin.

Skin bleaching creams work by reducing a pigment called melanin inside dark skin. By applying the medication to the body, melanin production is disrupted allowing the skin to lighten.

Some skin lightening products include exfoliants that induce mild peeling. Since skin tends to regenerate quickly and easily, the peeling clear away the dead "dark skin" cells and resurface lighter layers beneath.

Scientists differ on the long-term health consequences of bleaching. But some reports suggest that frequent skin bleaching can cause cancer.

Here are the two at the All Star Game this weekend. Decide for yourself if you think she's bleaching.
