Producer of the GRAMMYs, Ken Ehrlich has claimed that Kendrick Lamar, Drake and Childish Gambino have all turned down offers to perform at this year's event.

Speaking in an interview with the New York Times, he said:

“The fact of the matter is, we continue to have a problem in the hip-hop world,” said Ken Ehrlich, the longtime producer of the show. “When they don’t take home the big prize, the regard of the academy, and what the Grammys represent, continues to be less meaningful to the hip-hop community, which is sad.”

Before he revealed that he'd offered all three rappers a slot and was turned down. Even Gambino, whose song “This Is America” is up for four awards, including record and song of the year declined. They will also not reveal whether they will even be attending the show.

Ariana Grande has just announced this week that she has pulled her performance.
