Golnesa "GG" Gharachedaghi from the Bravo hit series Shahs Of Sunset is being accused of "cultural appropriation" because of her new hairstyle. She's now rocking African Braids.

GG grew up in Los Angeles and comes from a wealthy, nominally Muslim family originally from Iran. She posted the pics of her new hairstyle on social media yesterday - and some people were outraged.

Many are suggesting that GG is "culturally appropriating" the African hairstyle by wearing it

Cultural appropriation is the adoption of elements of one culture by members of another culture. This can be controversial when members of a dominant culture appropriate from disadvantaged minority cultures.
