Gervonta Davis has pleaded not guilty in the charges stemming from an alleged assault against his baby mama, which was captured on camera while they attended a charity event.

According to court records obtained by The Blast, Gervonta's lawyer entered the plea in court, and he is scheduled to appear in court on March 3.

The boxer turned himself in to police on a domestic violence charge after a video surfaced showing him violently grabbing his ex-girlfriend at a public event went viral.

"As a result of an ongoing investigation after being notified through social media and the victim, on February 1, 2020, the above pictured subject was observed battering his former girlfriend whom have a child together. The below individual surrendered himself to the Coral Gables police detectives assigned to the case," a news release from the Coral Gables Police Department read at the time.

Gervonta was arrested on a misdemeanor simple battery domestic violence charge. He was released hours later after posting a bond.
