A Broadway dancer named Marcus Bellamy (pictured above, left), who performed in Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark, is charged with beating & strangling his boyfriend to death.
Marcus lived in New York with his partner Bernardo Almonte, a 27-year-old freelance IT technician. From the outside they seemed like the perfect gay couple, but underneath the FACADE - they weren't as happy as it looked.
On Friday night the couple reportedly began arguing in their Washington Heights apartment, and the argument quickly became physical. The two fought viciously - with Marcus biting both of Bernardo’s shoulders during the fatal fight.
Finally Marcus got the upper hand, and did the unthinkable. Police say he STRANGLED Bernardo to death. And what happened next is even more bizarre.
Marcus logged onto Facebook and confessed.
“I did it for love. I did it because I love you. He told me love and hate are the same emotion.” He continued, “I am God,” he wrote on his Facebook page, which is rife with Scripture verses, as well as pictures of himself shirtless and striking different dance moves. “I give life and can take it away.”
Marus is charged with premeditated MURDER.
