Gabrielle Union is one of the most beautiful women in the world. But she lost out on an acting role, because network execs thought that she wasn't pretty enough.
According to Gabby, the execs told her that lite skinned actress Bianca Lawson was "prettier" and so they gave her the role.
Gabrielle made the startling claim today - during an interview with AOL's Build.
Gabby explained, "I was testing for a pilot on the UPN network which no longer exists." "It was between me and Bianca Lawson, from Queen Sugar fame," the gorgeous actress continued.
The exec told Gabrielle's manager that Bianca got the role because, "Bianca's just prettier."
Many on social media are outraged at the executives' claims - and believe that they chose Bianca because of "colorism." Colorism is where lighter skinned Blacks receive preferential treatment over those with darker skin.
