Gabrielle Union is still traumatized by her experience over at America's Got Talent, and recently referred to her firing as a "brutal" and a "public flogging."
"Probably the 'AGT' of it all was so surprising and so heartbreaking and so frustrating and so unnecessary," Union said per USA Today. "That would be probably the hardest part [of my time in the industry]."
She said the whole encounter left her "feeling like such a public flogging and just standing in my truth and standing on the side of employee rights and knowing there's a better way of doing business."
"But that whole process was really brutal and knowing that I brought my team into that, it just sucked."
Union has spoken out about her time at the popular talent show since her firing last November. Union complained that the show had a "toxic" environment and claimed she was criticized for her hairstyles being "too Black."
